
Brian CHUNG (Hong Kong)
Dr. Chung is a Clinical Associate Professor of the Department of Paediatrics & Adolescent Medicine in the University of Hong Kong. He is also a Honorary Consultant of Queen Mary Hospital, Duchess of Kent Children’s Hospital, Tsan Yuk Hospital of the Hospital Authority and the Clinical Genetic Service of the Department of Health, Hong Kong . He received his training in the Division of Clinical and Metabolic Genetics at the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto in 2007-2010. He is a fellow of the Canadian College of Medical Geneticists. He is a drafting member of the curriculum for the subspecialty, Genetics & Genomics (Paediatrics), which is established under The Hong Kong Academy of Medicine in 2017. His research interests include 1) the role of epigenetics in human disease, 2) clinical genetics & genetic counselling and 3) clinical application of genomic technologies.
